Reviewer

I review research proposals and evaluate ongoing/completed research projects for national and international research funding agencies.

Presentations

I give lectures on current topics in computer science at scientific conferences, for companies and non-profit institutions. In particular, I offer presentations on interdisciplinary topics in the wider context of my research interests.

Projects

I am still actively contributing to on-going research at the Scientific Center for Information System Design at the University of Kassel, and I am a Distinguished Emeritus of the emergenCITY research cluster which is a joint activity of the universities in Darmstadt, Kassel and Marburg. 

Miscellaneous

Besides activities related to the science of computing I enjoy sports activities such as mountain-biking, jogging, and hiking.
